Project ’81 is Heritage Lottery Funded project.  It aims to develop a deeper understanding of the 1981 disturbances through unearthing new material from the archives and create brand new material including documentaries, school workshops and a public exhibition at the Caribbean Carnival of Manchester on the 13th & 14th August 2011.
